We have been asked a lot about the difference between the Tutellus project and those of BitDegree, LiveEdu and similars. I think there are important differences in both the goal and the philosophy behind.
I am assuming here that we all end with a final product as described in the Whitepaper. We are in different stages but let's assume we all fulfil our goals.
BitDegree starts from a specific job offer. From a pool of potential candidates a selection process is started, focusing on gamification. The best student gets the job offer.
LiveEdu starts from highly trained students, and focus on developing real-live projects, on the highest level, which will boost their chances to get a job position or even create a business on their own,
On the other side, Tutellus offers a wide array of educational resources, of all topics and levels, going from learning how to do the best mojito to fully recognized University Degrees. There is not competition between the users: Tutellus is a community, with students being rewarded not only when they learn, but also when they help other people to learn. Also, we are trying to bring Education everywhere: there are no requirements to enter Tutellus
So we have different goals and different approaches.
Keep in mind however than Blockchain gives the opportunity to change the world for the better. If someone living in an underveleloped country can start studying for free and eventually get a high level course or even a Degree through Tutellus, and then enter a BDG process or a LiveEdu project and get a job or start a business, that would be just awesome for all involved.
In this we share the vision of LiveEdu. To rephrase something they say in the whitepaper: with a goal this ambitious there are no competitors, only potential partners to work with.
